About Department

            Çankırı Karatekin University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Midwifery Department has started training in 2019-2020 academic year with 60 students.

History

            Within the protocol signed between the Ministry of Health and the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education on 22.11.1997, Faculty of Health Sciences has started education as the Collage of Health in 1999-2000 academic year in nursing department with 31 students in the building of Çankırı Health Vocational High School. It is affiliated to Çankırı Karatekin University in accordance with the law on the organization of higher education institutions dated 17.05.2007 and numbered 5662, decree-law on the positions of higher education institutions instructors and pursuant to the law regarding the amendment of the tables attached to the decree-law regarding the general position and its procedure. The College of Health was closed and the Faculty of Health Sciences was established with the decision numbered 2016/9007 and published in the Official Gazette numbered 29792 on 05 August 2016.
